"Obi-Wan is weak" isn't a valid criticism

Some of you have no depth or understanding of how stories are told. Ob-Wan didn;t just beat Anakin, he mutilated him. He left him with little more than a torso and 100% was left was melted into mush.

He then disappeared, stopped using the Force, and then finds out he's not only alive, but a terminator that has been doing the Empire's dirty work for 10 years; all while he's stopped using his abilities. Go take karate, BJJ, or hell even just lift weights frequently Dedicate years to it then stop for a decade. You'll be terrified and gasping for air if you get into a situation you have to defend yourself. His current situation makes complete and total sense.

Not to mention, Jedi's abilities going in and out - as their confidence wanes - is WELL-ESTABLISHED in this franchise.

Absolute morons making this argument.

If you don't use it, you lose it.

Not sure why this is such a wild concept for some.

Well established in the slew of garbage Star Wars films that have been released since Return of the Jedi, maybe. In the first three films (episodes IV-VI) the reverse was well established. Obi-Wan and Yoda had no confidence problems nor any apparent diminished Jedi abilities in those films, other than perhaps a slight age-related decline (not lack of force usage). This confidence problem is a relatively recent brainchild of worthless schlockmeisters like JJ Abrahms and other Disney hacks.

Luke guided a moving torpedo with his mind without training and had trouble moving inanimate objects in TESB. Hell, he had to concentrate pretty hard to retrieve his lightsaber on Hoth.

Athletes in the prime of their careers go through slumps.

I think I missed the sarcasm of your original post. Apologies!

It appears you are one of the people you are trying to attack.

You believe he did those on purpose he did not you can even see it he was in shock this is a person who he raised.

He left him for dead due to his emotional state as well you can see he is in shock Anakin forced him to do this.

Yes he disappeared but did not fully stop using the force go and re watch the show did you miss the part he was told about how Jedi do not really die and you can communicate with them.

The force was never about physical condition again have you forgotten what one of the previous films showed here is a hint Yoda training Luke.

His abilities have suffered due to emotions again did you even watch the show he has a form of PTSD.

I can keep going on but really cant be bothered.
