Why did he keep eating that frog woman's eggs after it was clear to the child that she was hurt over the loss of some of them? Remember it is an intelligent being, is 50 years old and has plenty of time to learn what it needs to to be wise. I don't like how season 2 it is being given too much childish characteristics.

Yoda and that frog lady are traveling companions, and she's a thinking sentient being who has made it clear that her bloodline depends on her delivering those eggs safely to her spouse.

Clearly some of you aren't getting it. So I'll address you since you were born with defects. These aren't chicken eggs nor random eggs randomly left behind somewhere. They are the LAST of their kind. The "child knows this and even if he didn't instinctively he should know they belong to her, a much more intelligent being than any of you. (She rigged the broken droid to speak for her). Yodas are not slow learners. They are slow agers. How else do you think the "child" is capable of using the force? Nothing learns that slow. Remember Anakin driving pod racers at age 5? How many of you even knew multiplication at age 5?

They're the LAST of HER kind, not species but family.
It may be a distinction that makes no difference, but I personally think it helped explain how chill she was about the Child eating her eggs.
And like zeesha says above, her species probably produces an overabundance of eggs as a reproductive strategy. Her husband and she appeared to be perfectly satisfied with one tadpole, at least to start with.
Also, the bigger point being missed is that the Child is not "evil" or "good." He's a toddler - he's still got a lot to learn. Like when he spat out the live frog when the human children laughed at him. True, that wasn't an ethical lesson so much as a table-manners lesson, but still, he's learning.
Personally, although the show could never last long enough to credibly confirm this, I think it'd be cool to see the Child grow up to follow Din Djarin's fundamentalist code. With Yoda's force powers, he'd be a pretty badass bounty hunter. And we'd get to see what their species is like when one believes "wars DO make one great."
Can't figure the helmet would do him any good though. Even full-grown, the ear-space and height would give him away. So much for remaining anonymous

The ability to learn isn't just a raw function of time, but brain development. If the child's brain matures in pace with its physical growth it could still have the mental faculties of a toddler no matter how long it's been alive. Parenthood for their species is clearly a rather long-term commitment!
Those eggs were unfertilized. They were just yolk sacs, and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit probably never wanted 36 children. Frogs on Earth lay large sacs of eggs, many of which get eaten but enough survive to keep the species going strong. The little guy didn't try to eat the tadpole. Sure mom and dad were right there the whole time - but I get the feeling he wouldn't have even if they left the room. If he's force sensitive he can probably sense that somebody's home now, the eggs aren't food anymore.
