I thought Gadot would be too skinny to play Wonder Woman, but she put on like 5 pounds of muscle (and was still skinny) and completely nailed the character. You don't need bulging biceps to be strong when you've got super strength. Plus she was a hand-to-hand combat instructor in the army, and it shows in the fight scenes.

Gal was a perfect choice for Wonder Woman, and I can assure you if she had been bulkier she would have been called "too masculine" or if she was curvier it would be an "unrealistic action hero". People are never happy, even when presented with a gift as glorious as Gadot.

Your whole argument seems based on what YOU find attractive, which is cool and all, but it doesn't build an air-tight argument for Gadot being miscast in the role.

Well I disagree, but that's not to say I'm right even if most people agree Gadot nailed the role. It's kind of odd that you say Gal looks like a feminine man, I don't get any masculine vibes from her at all. She seems all woman to me.

Again though, this is all a matter of taste. Guess you won't be watching the sequel but I can't wait, which is something I rarely say with superhero movies.

I appreciate you didn't like Gadot as WW, but it's kind of a moot point now isn't it? Whether you like her acting or think she has the appropriate body shape, she's still the first actor to bring the character to the big screen and has won many fans along the way. That's legacy, man.

Just out of interest, what are your thoughts on Megan Gale? She was cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller's scrapped Justice League project (you might also remember her from her small role in Mad Max Fury Road). I was excited about seeing her in the role because I thought physically she seemed perfect.

I agree she worst of any bunch they could have chose, they could have had someone younger, more athletic or fierce look, but have to see how cheetah looks because it could all be CGI.

An actor/actress should either look the part or have the acting chops to make the part (Michael Keaton brought the acting to batman that makes him my first choice batman and little physique Robert Patrick was more menacing then Arnold in terminator 2) - so i can wait and i did with Gal Gadot but it was a shame Gal didn't show either and wasn't a good choice for wonder woman.
