Like watching a bad artist paint something and you're going "Ohh no, you can't do that.. don't.. stop.. why??" but at the end of it you think, "Hmm, that's not too bad really.. I mean I wouldn't pay for it, but... it's not too bad."

You'd think he would have done the smart thing and retired. I mean, Daniel Radcliff is so rich now, he's pretty much set for life. Only reason I think he's still acting is because he wants to, not because he has to.

Actually this is what I like about Radcliffe. He doesn't take himself too seriously. He's Harry Potter, he's set for life. He doesn't obsess on the next big thing. Many child actors ended up bankrupt or dead OD-ing because they can't stop wanting to be a star all the time, forever.

Once you've tasted success, it's very very hard to let go. The fact that Radcliffe does these mediocre movies is probably even healthier for his psyche.

Keanu Reeves did mediocre movies all the time. He's Neo and he's John Wick. He's basically the most sane older Hollywood actor nowadays.

lol what? hes doing all sorts of roles he actually likes and weird ones. like swissarmy man. Hes not trying to be a leading man, hes not trying to "break out of the Harry Potter role".
