Not bad, not good either.

but too predictable from start to finish. Well filmed and well done but didn't move me as much as i expected ..

i would rate it a 6.5.

reply

Seems fair enough.
I generally don't make it a habit to try and predict movies so was surprised by the ending, but for this being in B-movie territory, I thought it was awesome all the way around.

reply

I guess i had different expectations, was expecting a more action packed movie, like hardcore henry ..

reply

Not every film can be the gem that transformers 2 or hardcore henry were, yo. Sorry.

reply

nice strawman there.

Never said hardcore henry was a better movie. This was better than HH but still not as good as i expected it to be.

HH was more fun and had a higher entertainment value. At least for me.

As for transformers ... wtf? Is that your default ad hominem when someone doesn't appreciate the same things as you?

reply

Predictable my ass!! There's no way in hell you guessed that Stem planned the whole initial murder itself. Sounds to me like you're just jealous for some reason. Go suck it ass muncher!

reply

Man, this wasn't good?? We obviously watched a different film then.
I mean, fair enough if it wasn't what you expected but.....Not good? lol
Oh and it was WAY better than Hardcore Henry which was essentially just someone playing a video game for an hour and a half.

reply

Yeah, it is better than HH, objectively. But subjectively for me HH was more ... fun.

Maybe the fact that i watched the trailer made me predict every little thing in the movie and there was almost nothing new in the movie compared with the trailer, trailer that made my expectations go through the roof.

reply

no way its that predictable, many may have thought Eron was the one that orchastrated the whole thing but it was the AI instead

reply

there were hints in the movie. Specially after the hacker scene it kinda led there. And the scene with the drone footage. No matter how good the AI was he couldn't have seen what grey had no chance to see in a blurry video with not enough details.

SPOILERS---------------------------------------

Kind of agree....I dont see how anyone couldnt have known/predicted the murder of his wife was just way to get him to have the operation....

I guess they were hoping you would think The Eron Keen was responsible and was doing it to test his invention(Stem) because it was going to take YEARS before he could test it legally(as they said in the film)....so you then would be surprised by the Twist...

But overall it was just way too predictable....The way his wife was killed, the way the car "Malfunctioned",you just instantly knew it was all setup so Grey could be the test subject for Stem....

I imagine not many predicted "Stem" set it up, I imagine(Like Me) most thought it was Eron, But regardless It was very Predictable

Still LOVED the movie...

reply

Disagree on all points.

Not good... GREAT. ;) Superbly crafted film.

reply

Agreed! OP is probably in a competition with this movie, and decided to try and blemish it. Predictable my ASS!! This was like a Black Mirror episode on steroids, and scored 9/10 for me!

reply

Completely disagree.. this was a solid 9/10 for me..

reply

Same, absolutely loved the plotting as well as the action in this movie. I don't see how anyone could have predicted that ending.

Have a short review of this movie if anyone is interested. If you feel there is something I could be doing better, I would definitely love to hear it. Review here- https://youtu.be/OM6fwdqlKz4
