...Royal Dinner by the support staff was LUDICROUS and treasonous.
Seemed so forced of a plot line for the Bates' to come up with that plan.
Let alone have everyone agree to do it, including Carson.
And then it all went off without a hitch?
C'mon - weak writing.

Agree, but the weak writing was not limited to that scene.

I was just happy to see everyone again. I loved the series and movies are never as good..Look at Sex in the City.. The series was great but the movies werent.

Downton Abbey has ALWAYS had weak writing.
