Budget is $240 Million

It's going to flop even worse than expected.

Seriously? No way it'll turn a profit.

movies' insane book cooking practices are insane:

setup LLC, double the posted costs, file bancruptcy, repeat

For that amount of money you could buy literally all the dogshit in the world.

And then spend the rest of your life manually shovelling it into Kathleen Kennedy's mouth.

Only 240? With so many reshoots? Hmmm

Literally nothing announced by Hollywood studios is honest - be it budgets or profits. They don't even let actors who have back-end points know unless the actors sue the studios. I wouldn't be surprised if the cost is far higher and they're just trying to keep from embarrassing themselves... or it is actually far lower and they inflate it to make the movie sound more important and as an excuse to not pay back investors or anyone who has back-end points on the gross (producers, certain actors, etc).

Same budget as the Little Mermaid. Snow White is infinitely more popular than the little Mermaid and Rachel Zegler is more well established than Halle Bailey. Trust me, this movie will be a major hit. The anticipation and hype will get huge once it becomes closer to its release.

You all misunderstand...

PEOPLE
KEEP
BREEDING

This means, new tiny humans that PARENTS want to take to classic movies. Being as these new parents are YOUNGER, they want to see NEW versions of these films and will continuously fund them. Over and over from new parents, the money comes.
No one will flock to the theater, pay $90 to see the old 1937 original cartoon. (actually, I would if it was 4k's, remastered, cleaned up and better mixed audio)

So, new market is available every 5 years or so.

They produce what the market demands. New classic remake after classic remake
