Rachel Brosnahan for Lois Lane sounds good.
shareYeah, I like that casting too. David Corenswet looks like a young Henry Cavill so that'd be cool if he got the part. Nicholas Hoult is not a bad fit for Clark Kent but he'd have to bulk up for Superman.

I can definitely see Hoult as Clark Kent (which fits - comics Hank McCoy always reminded me of Clark 😂). Really can't see him as Superman, though.
She has Margot Kidder vibes.

shareMy first thought for Lois Lane was Cailee Spaeny. She could do it, but she may not have the right look. Emma Mackey has exactly the right look for Lois Lane.
My first thought for Lex was Bradley Cooper. Then I found out he was in discussions for the part. Unfortunately, it looks like he isn't going to do it. I thought he would be perfect for Lex. Funny and devlish at the same time - he'd play Lex like Gene Hackman did. I don't really have a #2 for Lex.
Nicholas Hoult as Superman should work.
Rumors floating around that Brainiac is in the movie.

Superman in a "team up" movie just as everyone is getting thoroughly sick of the Avengers template seems a terrible move.
Superman is Superman. He shouldn't be introduced working with some team...
I'm not against it, but this seems like a lot for what's ostensibly a reboot of the whole DCU. Unless they'll just appear in the post-credits scene a la Nick Fury in the first Iron Man.
shareFunny thing was I read about this last night after watching the first half of Black Adam and seeing a whole team of superheroes, including black panther hawkman, which just left me thinking - Eh? Where did they all come from? Where were they when Zod was going to destroy Earth (in MOS)?
It was even worse than how they had to try and retcon Batman into those events. Don't think they even bothered with Wonder Woman.
I guess given they'll all be there from the start this time, maybe not such an issue, maybe they won't even "origin" them as such and they'll all just be there.
But given just the powers of the green lanterns, for example, it instantly lessens the power of Superman in his own movie. Would far rather have a standalone Superman film with him doing something other than battling Lex / Zod.
