How this movie could have been even better... (spoilers)

I liked the movie, but I found some shortcomings. I think if they had added about 15 mins to the runtime and edited the movie better, it would have allowed for more character development and brought the action scenes to a better closure. I felt some action scenes ended rather abruptly. It was unclear what happened to the main bad guy (Datu Junmar) in the end; did he get mowed down by the plane? Did he die? The scene was cut off too soon to allow the viewers to 'enjoy' Junmar's comeuppance.

The aviation operations were depicted fairly realistically, particularly during the first half. Still, the script could have been easily adjusted to make some flying scenes more realistic towards the movie's end. However, what bothered me most was a US commercial airline operator having access to "private assets" (mercenaries) to deploy and take on the baddies in a foreign country.

So, for me a 6/10 movie. With some improvements, it could have been an easy 7.

To me, it was quite clear that Datu had an intimate conversation with the landing gear.

Not that they couldn't resurrect him for a sequel; but I doubt I could believe any explanation for his survival.

They literally put that scene there for OBVIOUS reasons.. He got hit by the wheels.

I think it's clear the bad guy was run over by the plane. Now I do agree there could had been a few more scenes of dialogue just to flesh out the supporting cast better like the flight crew and passengers.

The main bad guy got plowed by the plane. No vagueness to his end
