Yeah, it was a good, enjoyable movie with a mix of drama, light and dark humour, and interesting characters. I rewatched it yesterday after a long long time and thoroughly enjoyed it. In the mid-late 90s, John Cusack made some quirky and interesting movies, like Pushing Tin, Grosse Point Blank, Being John Malkovich, etc. Great stuff.
Miranda slept with him to gain Wayne/Batman's utmost trust.
They showed him to ensure that the audiences do not misinterpret that Blake/Robin may assume the role of Batman after he finds the Batcave; instead, by explicitly showing Wayne at the end, the director is enforcing that Wayne is alive and kicking to assume the role of Batman with Robin as his sidekick, consistent with the comics.

Compared to most contemporary movies, I didn't think this towed too much of a woke line though.
Chris Rock's terrible presence and the annoying background score made this movie almost unwatchable.
He was crying because despite a good script and his good performance, he had a detective's hunch that the movie would not make it big.
