Any good??
I've been thinking about watching this. I've heard mixed reviews from terrible to amazing. What do you guys think is it worth a watch?

shareBoring. I fell asleep during the first episode and I didn't care. I turned off the second episode after a few minutes. I hate this show.
shareBottom line: It depends what your expectations are, and how much you're into the nostalgia factor. If you need a continuation of the 1960s/1990s Trek feel with little to no changes, then from what I understand, The Orville recycles a lot of previously done Star Trek storylines in a pleasing way and might be a safer choice for you. If you're not married to the one-and-done storyline format and you don't mind some somewhat overzealous technology updates, it's actually quite refreshing to finally have a Trek with realistic, non-stock characters and faster-paced, high stakes storylines.
shareAbsolutely fantastic. I love it. The storyline and characters are superb, you never know where it's going. Much better than the star wars tripe, this is good writing, direction and acting.
shareCouldn't even finish the first episode, I found it so boring and meaningless, you have to watch it for yourself and see what you think.
shareOkay, I'll have to give it a shot. Lol you guys have again provided the same range seen everywhere of God awful to Amazing. I can't wait to see this just to see how it can get such a board reaction.
shareIf you're a Star Trek fan, you will not enjoy it (apart from a few homages and extreme technobabble). On the other hand, if you like modern tv shows with sick twists, low blows, and a main story going through the whole season, then you might find it appealing.
*Minor spoilers*
Think of it as "Game of Thrones meets Star Trek" including shocking deaths and gore, minus gratuitous nudity.
Depends. Do you really like Star Trek? Then I'd stay away from it and watch 'The Orville' instead. STD is dark, gloomy and humorless and the Klingons are ridiculous.
