Bay's bad decission strikes again. Just like The Rock and The Island (both great action movies that I think were hindered by their over-simplistic titles,) Ambulance is just another super generic noun that tells nothing and sounds awkward to drop in a conversation.
Seeing as over half the movie takes place inside of an Ambulance what did you want it to be called? Oh and it's stylized with LA in color so you know it's an LA movie.
What sort of an imbecile decides to watch or not watch a movie based on the title alone?
For a very long time now movie titles have been eclectic, obscure, cryptic, enigmatic etc. So you do some research as to what the movie is about, check the synopsis, read a few reviews maybe. Not difficult to do with today's technology.
God knows what people expected when they watched movies like Magnolia.
Did people think The Sting was a movie about killer bees?
Watching a movie based on nothing but the title is just so dumb.
