Falllen Kingdom is to Jurassic Park what TLJ is to Star Wars. The dumbest shit ever released in the franchise! Universal are in panik mode right now. They are even trying to delete critical reviews on YouTube right now. Cause they knew that this is the worst shit ever released with a Jurassic Park label put onto it.

shareDon't overreact. This movie is hardly as bad as TLJ was. It doesn't destroy old lore or makes the old movies unnecessary. It also doesn't destroy the accomplishments of previous movies, like TLJ does. I could go on and on but I will leave it here.
The ending is also fine and it leave the possibility to make Jurassic World 3 amazing. TLJ on the other hand is worthless and destroys everything that came before it and makes people not excited about Episode 9. Also Episode 9 can never fix the problems of TLJ. JW3 can easily fix the problems with JW FK.
They are all kids movies. Star Wars is a kid's franchise, Jurassic Park is a kid's franchise.
When someone actually tries to reclaim a kid's franchise and turn it into an adult franchise with complex themes like Ridley Scott tried to do with the Alien franchise, all of the kids cry out in pain and scout: "I want my low IQ kid's content!"
You kids will remain kids until your death bed, and the adults are suffering because the Alien franchise won't be continued. Congratulations, live in your bubble kid paradise.
I'm not sure Jurassic Park is a Kid's franchise. JP1 primarily consisted of adult themes and situations. I doubt the debate of Genetic Manipulation, adult financial struggle/competition, and screen visualization of people being mauled to death by Dinosaurs are ideas set up for a kids movie.
Half the movie deals with the Almighty Dollar and it's pull on all of us. Grant only taking the job to pay for his Dig, Dennis' sabotage and stealing all in a effort to make a quick fortune, the lawyer's obsession about all the financial opportunities with the park.

shareI have to concur with other posters that this is nothing like tlj. This movie is meh and doesn't infuriate fans of jurassic park. It neither takes away from jurassic park but it doesnt add to it. But i must say they should stop making anymore jurassic world movies if they're going to continue in this direction.
shareJurassic Park 3 does not involve control in any sense, which is why it barely feels like it belongs in the same franchise. JW and JW:FK both fail because of their over-reliance on hybrids and their insistence on having the T. rex and Velociraptor (once feared agents of chaos) as the heroes of the franchise. Hybrids aren't natural, and don't feel natural, so the theme of the first film is unable to be developed. These are movies about corporate greed, not movies that involve corporate greed. The heroic turn of the normal dinosaurs likewise means they no longer behave as neutral components of nature, not good nor evil but guided by instinct.share
I disagree. I've personally found JWFK to be one of the more refreshing and enjoyable movies released this year. Without it what do we have this day and age? a steady stream of marvel and other superhero movies released every 2 months along with a pixar movie twice a year? I'm sick to death of these garbage Marvel movies that somehow pull 70-95% on RT like clockwork.
Anything that can be a blockbuster size movie that isn't a superhero movie I welcome with open arms.
A quite place was okay but WAYYY overrated and I think that just goes to show we the movie goers are starved for something different.

The first one was just average. and thats why people still watched the second one. The second one was simply a desaster. And now the franchise is dead. Its not that hard to get.
