This is one that kids might like, but honestly some little kids could get bored because there is no dialogue at all. This is actually a good one for adults, or kids who are a little older and not expecting to see a typical animated film.
One of the best films of the year. I fell in love with it. You didn’t need dialogue. I saw it with an audience full of kids and I thought it was actually adult as well. Actually it’s good viewing for pets. I cried at the end - just a little. You realize that there are really talented created people still out there. Latvia apparently.
So much better than Inside Out 2.

If you love animals and quiet movies then you'll love this. No dialogue, just animal sounds and behaviour. Some moments will leave you guessing at what will happen, some things make sense afterwards and their journey has a 'you never know what is around the corner' story as they go on and come across things.
My children liked it.
Nothing was explained, but I suspect that was not earth and it was a water world with insane tides - likely it had an irregular orbit. There are ancient ruins shown but signs of an industrial society as we seen machined bolts.
Decent film, I enjoyed it. Stay for the credits, there is a post credit sequence.
