In 2017, Aykroyd discussed the film on British talk show Sunday Brunch, saying that Feig “will not be back on the Sony lot anytime soon.” According to the actor, Feig “spent too much on it, and he didn’t shoot scenes we suggested to him.” Aykroyd later clarified his comments by posting to Facebook that he enjoyed the 2016 film but wished Feig “had been more inclusive to the originators.”

He may be complaining but the lunatics who claim to have liked GB 2016 wouldn't buy such a set anyway.

Same A Nightmare On Elm Street box set wouldn't include the 2010 remake.

Sony's caved and will be including Feig's Ghostbusters as a digital download code in the set.A download code i'll be tossing in the trash when i get my set.

Maybe because the 2016 is NOT part of the franchise?
