Is it worth seeing in IMAX 3D?

Me and my friends were planning to catch Everest in IMAX 3D this weekend, but it seems that The Walk will have taken over the IMAX screen in our local cinema by then. We still kinda want to watch something in IMAX 3D though. For those who have seen it in this format, is it worth the extra expense?

i have to say no it wasnt worth it. most scenes take place in restaurants and apartments.

My hands were sweating too haha.

I usually dislike 3D but it was stunning in this.

It's definitely worth seeing in 3D Imax. It's a very good movie and it uses 3D throughout. The special effects were outstanding.

I think Yes ... just saw in in IMAX 3d this evening. However honestly I was expecting more time spent with big panoramic views in the movie. Except for the last part of the movie, most was on the ground, in buildings, or in small spaces outdoors, so the big IMAX 3D effect isn't quite as pervasive as you might think.
