shareRoad House is your typical 80's movie that is fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Not saying it was Oscar worthy, but for sure there were way more people that liked it than didn't.

I'd probably give it like a 4.5 out of 10, not horrible but not anywhere near being great or Oscar worthy.
That being said, it will be interesting to see just how much they change in it, I might actually watch this just to see what changes they make.

Oooohh, I don't know, I just watched the trailer and it looks kind of silly but then again, so was the original. I'd definitely have to see some reviews before making the decision to watch it.
I don't mind them remaking this film though, like you said, the original wasn't that good to begin with. We'll see how this pans out. Not getting my hopes up though...
That said, I like the idea of taking films that were just okay and remaking them with improvements. It might be something Hollywood could do.
