Do all pop singers have to be scantily dressed on stage

I just realized what a supreemly bizaar mixed message this sends about image, and ticket buyers:

these hot young pop star women dress SEXY...
sexy attracts a portion of MALE audience to the music, I doubt to the concerts. I SUSPECT most of these concerts are attended by majorioty of women, some guys on dates etc

does this "sexy" attract FEMALES to the music? To the concerts? Do they go because they like looking at her oncovered skin and sexy makeup? Sexy means sexual and nothing else. Do they want to have sex with her like all the guys do? Or do they want to BE sexy like her? Oh no... women don't want to be sexy, they want to be men. Not sexy women. :)

I guess NO ONE wants to pay to listen to, or watch someone in a long, covering Burka.... EVERYONE wants to see a sexy girl, not fat, not ugly, not tiny, just sexy sells. Is what it is.
