Walsh calls out leftist delusion, yet he believes in "god".

Ah, "gawd"... America's favourite fairytale character. After centuries, nobody has provided a shred of empirical evidence for its existence. Yet Walsh (and all his DW cohorts) talks to this nonexistent entity every day.

Disappointing. Atheism is the natural conclusion of the "logic" that Walsh and Shapiro espouse.

reply

just to be sure I'm getting this clearly...

PERSONAL BELIEFS override PROVEN FACTS? Is that it?

I believe the sky is always yellow, therefore, when I say 2+2=4 that is incorrect?

Just trying to follow the logic here. Or is it not logical?

reply

Color is a perception as left-leaning people like to say.

reply

so, 2+2=4 is also only perception?

reply

Not to me, but to some left-leaning people. I have heard that IRL.

reply

why is this stupidly insane stupidity even tolerated?
and how are they so blind to not even see it???
IN SANE

Your posting history shows a preoccupation with denying the existence of God and belittling others' spiritual beliefs. It's as if you are trying your hardest to not believe in God but are struggling with your own lack of faith.

reply

I'm not denying anything. Guzzling five bottles of vodka every day, while claiming I don't drink, would be denial. I'm simply observing the total lack of evidence for the existence of sky man.

reply

OK. Thank you for the logical response. When you post frequently on the subject and say things like “sky man”, you are belittling peoples’ belief in God and indicating hostility on your part. That’s why I was speculating about what drives you.

I have found that people who make a big deal about how pious they are turn usually out to be the most immoral, so when I see it flipped I’m just curious about motivation.

reply

You can prove God doesn’t exist?

reply

We already talked about that.

reply

So you can’t?

reply

The logical fallacies of your thinking have already been shot down. Keep up.

reply

As someone from the old IMDb boards once pointed out, if you could go into the desert, put your hands on an obelisk that was "God," you wouldn't need faith, would you? God wants you to access Him by faith. You don't like those rules. Fine. God's God, though, and He gets to make the rules. As the kids say, cry harder.

Since your username is BlackMass, God takes up a lot of space rent-free in your head for a "fairytale character." Just sayin'.

reply

"Black Mass" was a totally random name. Nothing to do with imaginary sky fairies.

reply

Nothing Freudian going on there, I guess.

reply

Lot of denial happening with that person.

reply

Ooohhh you said "I guess". A Freudian admission that you don't know what you're talking about.

reply

You are well beyond Freudian issues.

reply

😂

reply

The irony is that Christians, who you seem to look down on, are more sensible and logical than atheists who are quick to believe all the racist and sexist propaganda coming from the secular left.

Believing in an entity that apparently has no concrete proof of existence hasn’t prevented them from comprehending fundamental topics like race and gender.

reply

I tend to think it's more a case of leftist loons being atheists, than it is atheists being leftists loons. I can imagine how touting atheism would feel rebellious and "punk" to those woke crazies.

I maintain that atheism is the natural conclusion of the "logic" that Walsh pursues when dissecting transgenderism, CRT etc.

reply

What's your point, exactly? That Matt Walsh must be wrong about racism and DEI because he's wrong about other things?

reply

Not at all. My point is that he should apply logic, and call out delusion, across the board.

reply

Then you should have put this topic on Walsh's page instead of the MOVIE's page. Because now you look like you're relying on ad hominem to debunk the movie's arguments.

reply

Not really. I said I was disappointed that Walsh calls out delusion on the left, but doesn't apply the same critical lens to religion.

reply

He also believes in literal hell and heaven. And Satan. Just for the record.

reply

TIL only Americans believe in a god.

reply

Wrong. People all over the world believe in a god. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc.

reply

*whoosh*

reply

You’d be surprised how many people unironically believe what you posted.
