No. Neither Mando or Grogu are movie caliber characters. One doesn't show his face and the other one doesn't talk. It's absurd. How in the hell are we supposed to spend two hours with these idiots on the big screen?

Will that kill the box office? Well, not me personally not going but will there be many people like me? I don't know. I would have said the same thing now applied to MCU films but Deadpool did alright in spite of that, so who knows.
If it's a Christmas release, I guess that will help.
Now, I haven't seen a Disney Star Wars film since the Last Jedi but I view these TV shows as more inline with the cartoons rather than the "live action" universe, so who cares...
yes its a Star Wars movie also Jon Favreau is good director yes it my most anticipated movie of 2026. Star Wars is a film franchise first always has been.
