Mikey Madison's performance is what elevates it.
She sure looked nervous during the SNL50 bit where Ryan stands up and asks "what have you heard?". You could see her should leaving her body lol
Well, not anymore, it seems that she is doing a TV series.
Ariana made the mistake of focusing on movies. She dropped the ball and now Olivia Rodrigo has taken her spot as a main pop girl.
She comes across as fake, very performative. People are wise to her act.
Let's face it a role like Anora is never favorable to an actress' reputation. She won't become an A-lister or household name but will retreat back to small roles after the current hype fades.
Just small roles I don't see her getting any bigger than she currently is now.
