If you don't believe in ghosts, gods or demons, do you believe people have souls?

A man I chat with on another message board stated that many atheists like to see horror/paranormal films for entertainment, so I was wondering what atheists thought about souls and the possibility of ghosts existing.
Probably not. I would like for us to have souls, but I think it's just a concept man dreamed up for himself because it's painful to be confronted with his own mortality and insignificance in the universe.
