Is Creepy That Kate Winslet Kissed Liam Hemsworth?
Kate Winslet is too old for Liam Hemsworth because Kate is older 15 years than Liam.
Kate is 40 years old. Liam is 25 years old. Their age gap is 15 years.
Why both actors were chosen for this movie? Cannot they find someone who can close to Kate's age for this movie? Or they just follow the book what it shows the indentification of the characters' ages.
No more or less creepy than when a 40 year old male actor kisses a 25 year old actress.

Actors through history have always played characters of different ages than they actually are. As long as it is believable that is all that matters and had you not known or looked up their actual ages, I think you would be hard pressed to note the difference. I was actually surprised Liam is as young as he is as he looks much older and Kate looks younger.... which is why it works.
People need to stop being so literal when it comes to casting films, it is called "acting" for a reason!
