Killing yourself is NEVER the answer...

... no matter what hollywood and movies like this try to imply.

Keep fighting the good fight, even the severely disabled have a lot to contribute. NEVER give up! It's taking the test and passing it that bring rewards on the other side of all this pain.

reply

exactly, that is what hollywood is trying to convince you.

The life of a human being is precious no matter if you can walk or see or whatever.

He did a stupid thing. The end was horrible. How can you let the person you love and kill yourself? That is so selfish.

And you didn”t ask for your life so is not your choice to end it.
Giving up is the worst decision you can make!

reply

Blaming hollywood? This was thought up by ONE woman. It happens the same way in the book. And that shows that someone else has an opinion on it besides you. If someone no longer feels the need to be alive, why are you stopping them?
What's the reason exactly you have that nobody should allow themselves to die before their natural time?

Whatever the weather my ass! It's hot as hell out here!

reply

People have a right to decide for themselves. If they have no quality of life and are in horrible pain that is not a life! Stop trying to contol others and life your life... you cannot see into the lives of others.

Spoil a movie that's only been in theaters for a couple weeks. You're a freaking douche. I didn't even go on this movie's message board and saw this because they put this on the page that previews that message boards. Go *beep* yourself.

It's impossible, but I will do it--The Walk.

As supportive as your words are, people have the right to choose. Will could only move his face, he lived in a very miserable way for 2 years, he tried to change his life but it wasn't possible to do more. His health was also very weak and he would get sick quite often. In his case and other people's similar ones, we must accept their right to end their lives. If you wanna live like a vegetable for the rest of your life that's fine but if others don't want to, it's their right to. If I was on his place, I would have done the same thing.

reply

Agreed. "If you're a man, Kill yourself and leave all your life's money to some hoe" - not a good, but very typical Hollywood message. Only embarrassingly sad cucks and betas would defend or agree with this Bs.

Showing suicide in any film subliminally implants the idea of suicide into any individuals mind. Life sucks. Life isn't all that good for anyone. No matter what people say. They're lying. Honestly, I don't know how every human on the planet hasn't committed suicide. Life is meaningless crap.

I don't give a sh!t about money.

reply

There is no such thing as subliminal messages.

Alright, I guess I know how this movie ends now...

reply

It's an easy thing to say "killing yourself is NEVER the answer" when you're not experiencing a situation like Will's.

I understand why he did what he did but I don't necessarily agree with it.

I will eventually kill myself and it is abhorrent that your ilk would impose a life of misery onto people. A true disgrace, just like pro-lifers, forcing people to do your bidding, without lifting a finger to put yourself in that person's shoes.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**
