western and horror don't go together

is why i haven't watched it.

reply

Of course they do.

Just not very well in this boring film.

reply

BORING IS NOT A WORD I WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE THIS MOVIE.

reply

Last scene was intense.

Nothing else.

reply

I ENJOY THE ENTIRE FILM.

reply

I enjoyed it too. It was a fun movie. I like Cowboys and Aliens, also.

reply

YEAH....ME TOO....BOTH ARE ENTERTAINING AND FUN.

reply

C&A had action throughout and interesting characters.

This one didn’t.

reply

I turned this film off after a short time. It's not horror, it's just gruesome gore for the sake of it.

reply

Odd. i don't recall any gruesome gore till near the end... So I suppose, you watched most of it and were surprised, as many of us were, when it suddenly turned nasty.

reply

The opening scene showed someone getting scalped. It was also boring as hell.

reply

Boring scalping scenes are the worst!

reply

That's not true. There was an episode of Real Ghostbusters where the ghosts of Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp, and Morgan Earp all haunt the town of Tombstone. It's a pretty good episode. There's also the story in one of the Scary Stories books where a boy gets haunted by ghosts of western outlaws. So it's not that unfounded.

reply

Yeah because Southern Gothic Horror isn’t a wildly successful genre 🤦🏻‍♂️
