And he likes this? Maybe I should check it out, then.

I am also an old ass dad who likes stuff with lots of violence and gore, and I agree with TandyMan's dad. It's a really good show, and much better than almost any other Western made in the last 10 years.

I haven't seen this but western does NOT mean action. It isn't just John Wayne and Clint Eastwood reluctant hero stories. You can use the genre for all kind of different stories.

Ignore this rant; apparently, the OP is upset there was not sufficient T&A.

compared to Godless (2017)?

I have to agree.

There was a lot of action but I wasn't clear on the plot.

I guess if the point of the story was that the action IS the plot, then okay.

There are survival stories and the plot is about the characters surviving some horrible situation. If that was the point then it achieved it. Meanwhile, I didn't learn much about characters and so it was kind of dull while being full of action, so that's odd.

i agree. show was boring. there's virtually nothing else to watch right now though. everyone was way too gritty. for some reason they cast john carter of mars who cant act for shit except his brooding handsome face. so they decided to completely cover it up and let us only see his acting. also wtf is up with his sash hat? never seen that in a western before. he looked like he was in the middle east.

and speaking of nudity, you know redfeather and his crew gangbanged the white woman. that's why she converted.

I only showed up for Betty as well. And I will probably finish this for Betty as I think she is one of the best actors alive right now.

Can’t say I’m thrilled with it so far either. But man, it’s dead out there right now in TV land. I need something to stare at.
