Why do black actresses often have this passive aggressive attitude?

The black actress in this show has exactly one facial expression the whole time, bi#ch resting face, always annoyed, toxic plaming everyone else for their own shortcomings.

Well, Mr. Bigot. Do you realize how many people in Hollywood you've described, that's not black, or female?

reply

What you're describing is an actor who is playing themself rather a character. A sign of a shit performer.

“….toxic plaming [sic] everyone else for their own shortcomings” - it’s in the script.
She’s doing a good job of playing this part of MI6 weapons expert. She is not necessarily fair or likable but good at tracking this guy. And she’s physically strong and looks like she can actually shoot. From the original Jackal, they have made her not only an expert in her field but someone you disagree and disapprove, and with the Jackal, you kind of like him more which you did in the original. One falls from grace and the other rises above it. But she’s doing her job (but she doesn’t have pizazz - I agree). Redmayne is doing the most excellent job - he’s the best in the whole series. With very few episodes left and knowing that a second series is green-lit - I have to wonder if his wife, Nuria, is going to make it out alive in this. I guessing she’s not if it’s anything like the original.

Their real-life sense of black privilege often shines through on screen.

Maybe because the world isn't exactly nice or fair to women, particularly black women? Ever thought of that?

You haven't watched the show, have you?

She's one of the worst characters i have ever seen written

The token inclusive casting aside just a completely charmless rude obnoxious character, Ruins the show.

Redmeyne isn't much better to be fair but his character type is common the bad character who is actually a decent family man when not at work

But she is supposed to be the protagonist and yet impossible to root for. The whole way she acted when the young girl died in custody was abhorrent and was clearly open to cheating on her husband with her handsome partner. within 5 minutes of talking over a drink even mocking her own family as if they are fools or something? they have literally done nothing wrong except ask her to go to some school recital but her response is like are these people for real? i am MI6 i don't have time for this bullshit how dare they expect me to be a mother and wife

Constantly talks to her college like a piece of shit when he's trying to help her. Even talks to civilians and a grieving mother with distain

And it's laughable seeing everyone at MI6 looking to her while she calls the plays. Who the fuck is this chick do they send her in to ruin the shows first Bond and now this one she's obviously being pushed as a star but has zero star quality or an ounce of charisma or likeability

Strange times

Totally forgot she was in bond movie too, yes, she was obnoxious there as well.
