Well you killed the Golden Goose and now expect fans to come back? no thanks.

Black woman 007 that is it.
End of franchise. There is no going back, unless the events of No Time to Die were a dream sequence ala Bobby Ewings shower.

Well, Bond did get his 007 status back in the end, although it came from nowhere and was badly written. There wasn't any reason for the woman agent to give her 007 status away. It should have been a bigger moment but it was just bland.

People who complain and say that the next Bond will be a black woman are way overreacting and -reading this.

Spectre was the lowest point for Craig's Bond. No Time to Die tried to salvage what could be salvaged from there. It had strong moments, but as a whole wasn't perfect. In general I'm bored with action scenes nowadays and like scenes that flesh out Bond's character and his inability to trust other people (like in the beginning when he dumps his woman to train). It was a touching moment.

Completely agree (Spectre was God-awful. I'll take Quantum of Solace over it any day).

Calm down. They'll reboot it, the front runner to be the new James Bond is Aaron Taylor-Johnson (a white man from England). There have been 25 of these movies, it's not like the events of No Time to Die ruined some long stretch of continuity.

reply

Aaron Taylor is a BETA MALE. His only roles to date are playing whiny, 2 bit villains. He was the butt of the joke in the box office disaster Fall Guy.

Not a great choice.

The Bond franchise has had a bad stretch of movies. Quantum was god awful, Spectre was a waste, and NTTD is a hate crime. I feel they did a disservice to Daniel Craig, who had a great start with Royale and then given nothing to work with thereafter, with the possible exception of Skyfall.

So yes, it sucked that NTTD rolled with the woke times we're in but it did suffer. First, Covid delay and then a fairly meek Box Office..2nd worse to Quantum in the Craig era.

Hopefully ATJ will bring this moribund franchise back to life..post woke.

I ain't coming back. You wanted Bond dead he's dead. I'm never flipping a dollar to this sorry fanbase hating franchise again.

haha brilliant! this blueprint for success has been really well received for other beloved franchises that were killed. Alienated are the fans that supported them to new heights only to now find this deconstructed properties unrecognizable - literally disenfranchised and disinterested...Star Wars, Star Trek and now James Bond....all ruined.

At least we have some very great films to fondly look back on.

Why not just go full-bore and make it a transexual female-to-male gay (and sometimes gender-fluid) Chinese/Black/Middle Eastern/Russian with blonde hair and blue eyes?

All the boxes would be checked. Right?

Wheelchair bound dwarves worldwide have cancelled you.

well im Glad Lea Seydoux was used better in Dune Part 2 than in both Bond films all options should be considered your not engaging with the Material but Mission:Impossible owns Bond.
