DO not watch
Horrible, horrible movie. Kind of like a paranormal activity movie. No more words.

shareRemind me to ignore your future comments, this was a great film and i recommend it, and give it a 7.5/10 rating.
"its only 8 o'clock and you're already bored, you don't know what it is but there's gotta be more"
are you joking? this movie was AWESOME. not only did they do a great job with the whole 'found footage' angle, they gave a very interesting and unique twist on the vampire craze that's been running rampant for the last few years. i'd totally recommend it to anyone who likes horror/thriller.
also, im not 15-18. or anywhere close to that.
I'll check it out for myself. I wonder if it's on Netflix yet. The trailer looked pretty good. PA was crap. Blair Witch Project was very good and it's more credited for the crazy acting. Heather Donahue was pretty convincing in the film. It was a creepy movie for sure. PA wasn't scary at all. The ending was really the only creepy part. I haven't even watched the other ones yet. The VHS films were scarier. Even Quarantine (REC) & REC2 were better overall.
If this film is a as good as those, I'll enjoy it.

Don't listen to this Douche Bag, it was nothing like Paranormal Activity. It was a lot more like Chronicle, if they were vampires, placed in A first person shooter. I absolutely loved this film. Plus the characters were likable. I couldn't wait for the D..k Wads in Paranormal to get killed.
shareYes, I'm just going to trust some random stranger on the internet about what I will or won't watch because that's how I base all my life decisions. No wait. I make up my own mind on things and will for this as well.
Edit: You were so wrong about this movie. Perhaps you like your vampires emo and sparkly, but this movie shows just what a vampire would really be like. It's also nothing like Paranormal Activity, which was a horrible movie. You were wrong about that too. Like I always say folks, make your own decisions about what to watch and give a movie a chance. Trailers can be misleading.

Well, it's kinda like Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. I watched that earlier this year and enjoyed it more than any of the previous PAs. I liked Chronicle, and I think this turned out to be a really good movie despite the similarities between the films. I'm sure they weren't trying to rip off PAs latest installment seeing as how they were both released at approximately the same time. Anyways, it was better than I thought it'd be once I realized what it was GOING to be. I thought the production value seemed very high, the parts where they would talk to a stationary camera, seemed pretty good. Another commenter commented that it was like a FPS video game, which it was. They did it very well, though. All in all, this wasn't a 10/10 movie, but for what it is, and definitely considering the budge I rated it a solid 6/10. Oh, and for the record I'm 30 (since that seems to be the big credential in this thread :P)
shareYeah. It wasn't the greatest thing I've ever seen, but it was certainly an okay diversion. I didn't watch any of the Paranormal Activity movies after the first because I was so underwhelmed by it. Everyone kept saying how scary it was, but it was really only people investigating scratching and banging noises in the middle of the night while making incredibly unintelligent decisions to provoke a supernatural being. As a major fan of horror I just wasn't impressed or even entertained.

Calling this a masterpiece just shows people don't know anything about good movies.
sharejust watched it and I was super impressed. i'd say it's a must watch for horror fans. and a definite must watch for fans of found-footage horror. it's a shame the movie isn't reaching a bigger audience.
shareI'm with you. It's just awful. And what's with the corny music in the beginning. Who edited this in if this is a "found footage" account of a trip gone so wrong. Really takes you out of the illusion that it is found footage. Plus, the premise is beyond idiotic.
