Cancelled after three episodes
And glad it was. Haven't seen writing as bad as this ever.
shareI don't understand the appeal of shows like this or "Ratched." I'm sure producers love them because they're dealing with known intellectual properties, but some of them are just dreck.
shareThey're merely attempts at a quick name recognition based cash grab.
shareRatched started rather strong, nothing ground breaking but it was enjoyable. It just did the same mistake most TV series do these days. They go too far too soon. Suddenly people die every episode, lots of plot armor and red shirts, etc.
As brilliant as writers can be, they do not seem to understand the ancient, working, almost perfect JAWS-formula:
Less is fucking more, you morons.
She was excellent though. I was bad writing but I was hoping it would get better.
shareI really think they missed a chance to make Clarice black and maybe lesbian. That would have been worth at least two seasons.
shareWas it woke.Just curious.I thought about checking it out but i'm very leary of network shows with female leads because the writing tends to veer down the girl power woke road.
shareThem pesky girls! You're better off without them anyway!
shareI don't mind female lead shows.Buffy is one of my favorites. It's the shi*ty identity politics woke writing that i can't stand.Woke shows tend to care more about the race gender and sexuality of their characters than they do about the actual characters.
shareIt was overly focused on her relationship with Ordelia. She came across as needy and dependent And seeking approval which isn’t like Clarice at all.
share
Very woke unfortunately.
😎
No, actually it's still chugging along, though how I don't know.
😎
It’s not too bad. Some might say it’s woke as hell. But I’m at episode 11 and yeah, very interesting.
I especially love the inclusion of the trans lady to tie us back to Wild Bill and how society has changed since then.
Good writing so far in my opinion.
The writing is fair. Breeds is good. We shall see.
