Who loved this?

After at all the criticism I'm seeing on the boards, are there ANY people who not liked "Maniac", but loved it. I did and I stand by saying it's one of the best horror films in recent years, next to "The Conjuring", "Insidious" and "The Loved Ones". No wonder we get so many *beep* sequels and redundant remakes (and yes, I know "Maniac" is a remake, but a very necessary one). Because we complain about everything and see a well-made and widely original film even if it's right in front of our faces.

I completely loved it, the best horror film I've seen in a long time.

Fantastic film that forces the viewer into the perspective of the killer. Speaking of "killer", the soundtrack is incredible. ROB's 80's style tunes are not only sleek and stylish, but add to the overall incredibly unsettling sensations of the film. It's not easy to find good horror, but this was definitely a solid entry into the genre!

I absolutely love this film, and feel it is an instant cult classic. I also stand by my claim that this is the most original take on a serial killer since Psycho. Everything from the amazing synthesizer score, to Wood's hauntingly beautiful performance, has made this one of my top favorite horror films of all time.

Also, you are the first I have ever seen mention The Loved Ones. God, I love that movie as well. So good.
