After at all the criticism I'm seeing on the boards, are there ANY people who not liked "Maniac", but loved it. I did and I stand by saying it's one of the best horror films in recent years, next to "The Conjuring", "Insidious" and "The Loved Ones". No wonder we get so many *beep* sequels and redundant remakes (and yes, I know "Maniac" is a remake, but a very necessary one). Because we complain about everything and see a well-made and widely original film even if it's right in front of our faces.

Me. Much better than the original. Glorious gore. I've seen it yesterday and I can't take the brilliant soundtrack out of my head. "Goodbye Horses" is now my favorite psycho song.

I just got finished watching it, and I have to say that I loved the film and the soundtrack. I have no idea why this film has such a low rating on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. It's just goes to show that some people just do not understand nor can appreciate a goof horror film. Elijah Wood was awesome in this movie. I recommend this film to any true fans of horror films.

Always look for the positive in every situation.
