What woke lines of dialogue will Beetleguese say in this?

Since 80s movies only get sequels to contradict original lore and to commit character assassination, we can fully expect Beetleguese to spout DemoKKKrat party talking points this time around. Get ready for pro LGBTQ, Climate Cult, and open border activist Beetleguese, folks.

Oh I hope not. Beetlejuice doesn't strike me as the type to care about anything that's woke or not woke. Plus, he's been stuck in some kind of filing room-like community service punishment job for 37 years, so I doubt he knows anything about what's been going on in the land of the living for the past few decades.

He frankly doesn't even sound like the type who cares about who is in office [at least in the American govt.] or who anyone is voting for. He'll cause chaos for everyone just to amuse himself. Plus, he probably still has a crush on Lydia, though if her husband is still around, that's gonna be a problem for him.

I'm not sure about woke but from what I've heard, he's been significantly toned down and is more like he was in the cartoon.

reply

I sure hope not. Let him loose.

reply

Michael Keaton has said that he's now non-binary.

reply

You Zillennials and your phony affection for non-existent "original lore". Get a new shtick to beat your dead sister's pony.

reply

None. It’s was brilliant. Nothing was woke. He was a little bit less pervy this time that’s all.

reply

Exactly. younger folk always gotta start some stupid crap about if a movie is "woke" or whatever. Grow the fuck up. its just a damn movie. Let us old farts enjoy the movie since I and others were kids back then in the late 1980s before we became teens in the 1990s and we got stuck with mediocre horror movies like Warlock and half decent Full Moon horror movies

reply

Betelgeuse, the name of the character and star.
