You list is the best. You win. These are all some of my favorite horror films. Glad to see you listed the Descent. That movie is terrifying as much from the claustrophobic nature of the film as the creatures.
Ginger Snaps, Alien movies, The Thing, R.E.C., all films I can watch over and over and not get tired of.
I personally think the film that still gets me to this day and always leaves me feeling creeped out afterward is The Ring, the remake. The way it was filmed, the sound track, creepy nighttime nature sounds and Samara herself all come together to make a really creepy, scary film.
