How one scene can destroy a movie...

A guy gets shot directly in the frontal lobe and still lives enough to ask a dog for a paw? Come on!

Once I saw this, the whole movie lost it's flare. Even though it was pretty good overall.

If it wasn't for that one scene I would recommend this movie to my friends, but now it's just 'meh'.

Hey you do realize that Billy is a fictional *beep* character, right?

The entire movie was in Martin's head. None of those psychopaths characters actually exist.

reply

cartoon violence. satire. parody. *its not real* just some clues.

reply

I really hope you're joking...if not, that's utterly absurd, and this movie was excellent.

Quoted for amusingly apt error.

1. how could any one scene in this film ruin it? it is an excellently written, directed & acted film

2. there are, as many others have said, countless examples of people being shot in the head & surviving, as has been said, not just bullets, nails, all sorts, I have an ovoid lesion about the size of one of those squashed pennies you find at fun fairs from having an internal brain temperature of around 45 centigrade, people can take a beating.

3. Recommend it to your friends, if they agree with you that it is ruined by that, then you should all just never comment on movies again, because you obviously lack the required qualities for a useful contribution. Harsh, but, given that sentence, fair.

Well, it's not like the rest of the movie is realistic in any way.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

Apart from the obvious (that this is a black comedy) you'd be surprised what humans are able to survive.

Just read this real story. That guy lived for some years after getting a huge bolt right through his head and brain:
