Are they ever going to set an Aliens movie where they get to earth?

It's crazy this franchise peaked in the 1980s and is still churning out movies. I gave up a long time ago but have the aliens ever made it to earth? This looks like another Alien 1 remake where they infest another ship.

Do the Alien Vs Predator movies count?

Good call I forgot about those! Good lord, that even adds to the churn, doesn't it?

Are those considered canon? I was kinda thinking about the 'main' Aliens franchise.

reply

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were considered canon in the Predator universe, but not in the Alien universe. A bit like some of the older DC/Marvel comics crossovers being considered canon by one company but not by the other.

I like the first AVP movie. The second one is crap.

They are making an Alien tv show that takes place on earth. It's supposed to come out sometime 2025.

In "Alien Resurrection" they reach Earth at the end of the movie. If that counts. 😊

It would be like "Roland Emmerich produces a superhero movie". Better never happen. People associate Alien with space and exoplanets. I can watch reiterations of this for ages.

That would be awesome.
