Ok so my girlfriend and I are in disagreement over the book store sketches. She says that Fred Armisan's character is supposed to be a man with long hippie hair. I believe that Fred Armisan is a woman and that he is in drag in those sketches. Whats the word guys? Fred Armisan's character in the women's bookstore sketches, man or woman?
shareHe is supposed to be a woman, I'm pretty sure because on SNL he played a female Japanese character pretty convincingly. I can't remember but isn't the store called "Women Only" or something? This would further lead me to believe he is portraying a woman. His character also reminds me a lot of the hippie, earth mother types I grew up around in Vermont.
