The Women's Bookstore Sketches...

Ok so my girlfriend and I are in disagreement over the book store sketches. She says that Fred Armisan's character is supposed to be a man with long hippie hair. I believe that Fred Armisan is a woman and that he is in drag in those sketches. Whats the word guys? Fred Armisan's character in the women's bookstore sketches, man or woman?

I've only seen the first three episodes, but, so far, it never occurred to me that Armisen's character is supposed to be a woman. I just assumed that it's a man.

same here.

I just saw the final episode of season 1, in which Fred Armisen's character is referred to as "Candice." So, looks like it is a lady after all. He might be the least female-looking cross-dresser in sketch comedy history (and that's in a history that includes John Cleese).
