Lee Majors/song?
Is there any cameo or reference to Lee Majors or the song he sang during the opening credits?

shareLee has a cameo at the end and they play a version of the song over the credits.
shareLee Majors stands next to Heather Thomas ...his old Fall Guy bikini babe co-star - so that's two cameos -- and we get a tough demonstration about how men and women SOMETIMES age in Holllywood.
Heather looks a lot older. Also...they don't give her any lines. Maybe she didn't want any.
Still...nice to see them both..its the "required seal of approval" that TV stars SOMETIMES but not always give movies made of their shows. (I don't recall anyone from the Mission Impossible and Miami Vice TV shows guesting in the movies.)
..and I do believe that Blake Shelton sings the new "Fall Guy" theme song.
Note in passing: The movie is NOT like the TV show in that, on the TV show, Lee Majors was a stunt man who moonlighted as a bounty hunter and skip tracer. That's not the plot in the movie. On the TV show, Majors was given a younger stunt man sidekick. His agents wanted the show title to change to "The Fall Guys." (Fall GuyS.) Lee Major said: "No. Its The Fall Guy."
That was her? I didn't even notice... and I even had two posters of her in my bedroom growing up!
shareThat was her.
She is still an attractive woman, but older.
She was also rumored to have been on drugs a lot in the 80s. Maybe that aged her. Or was that Heather Locklear?
You say she was attractive? OK. But for sure, she REALLY shows how you age in Hollywood. Btw: Heather had a line, just off camera, it was on the wide shot.

Well, maybe I was just being polite. I will be more frank here and say that I was surprised how aged she looked given how certain other young beauties of years ago(Jill St. John for instance, not to mention the more major Jane Fonda) kept their looks preserved for a long time(of course the very rich workout maven Fonda had a leg up over Heather Thomas BECAUSE of her wealth, and got the best possible plastic surgery.)

Oops. Missed that. I guess I focussed only on Lee Majors talking in his close-up. Thanks for the catch.
I just heard the Blake Shelton version. Was there something wrong with the original lyrics?
shareMaybe they didn't want to give Lee any music royalties.
shareIm guessing that it referenced too many 'older movie stars' in the original and thought the younger generation that wouldn't know who they are disappointly :(
