Too Much of the Lord's Name in Vain!

Too many blatant uses of the Lord's name in vain. Too keep it "real" other curses could have been used, but the writer and director show no respect for God's name. For that reason alone, this movie isn't worth renting, buying or watching if you care about God's commandments.

Other than that... Decent acting, but slow and boring and not realistic. If you want to waste a couple hours of your precious life, then watch this. If your time is precious to you, then find something else to watch.

Unrealistic??? DF... the Entire, Whole Reason...to Watch A Movie...? If it is Realistic- Then it's called a Documentary. Certainly Not boring. If you want Realism- Walk out your Front Door- and go to work all day. A movie that expands your horizon and tends to be peculiar- is The FUN part. Escape, Go with it. You don't have to accept or worship the Views presented in Movies. Laugh At EM. The beauty of American freedom to choose, believe, and Say whatever from different viewpoints. But you don't have to take offense- turn the channel. A good movie stretches your imagination and shows you alternate ways of looking at things. Grow from it. Take the Ride- if you don't like the road it takes you on... Keep travelin' - try another road-

How much a person curses, and what words they use, depends very much on the people they hang around with (much more so than what movies or shows they watch). Even someone who doesn't curse often, after a couple of hours of playing cards with a group of people of varied familiarity (for example), can find themselves suddenly a little looser with their words for a time afterwards. But that usually passes quickly if card night isn't a very regular occurance.

People also tend to be programmed through experience not to use certain words when in certain situations; and also tend to use certain words they wouldn't otherwise use when in times of stress. These are things I take into consideration when watching a movie. (Or when meeting someone for the first time. I won't judge someone's character simply because of a colorful vocabulary. Some of the most eloquent people in the world have turned out to be the most evil).

(This, however, does not excuse the use of foul language in films for the wrong reasons, like adding "grit" to a movie; or excuse bad scriptwriting and/or acting where such language comes off forced and ends up taking viewers out of the film.

Anyhoo...

I'm guessing the OP has never seen a Tarantino movie. Or, for that manner, any R-rated movie. What a whiny god damn douche.

Son, you can't polish a turd

if god exist , u wont be watching any hollywood movies for that matter... fortunately he doesn't exist lolx.. so u can rest a sure all the cursing will do no harm to a figment of your fantasy , just like getting mad at sponge bob square pants.. its silly..

reply

OP since god doesn't even exist I wouldn't worry about it. Worry about things that are real and actually matter.

Deja vu...do you keep posting that religious mambo-jumbo all over imdb forums ? Shouldn't you be banned ? Does Jesus approve of that ? Come on !

Please grow a little thicker skin and keep your imaginary friend out of the reviews.

Get over yourself, OP.
There's no such thing as "taking a name in vain".
Besides that, you don't seem to understand the definition of curse.

What a bizarre complaint
