Is this the most stupid movie ever or what?

...I mean the whole plot... highly advanced alien civilisation trying to invade earth using giant creatures that are cloned??? or give birth??? and much more stupid humans using giant robots to wrestle them...
How stupid can that be. Why do'nt aliens use some kind of virus, why not humans use thousands of small robotic weapons instead... totaly bull crap.
I don't use to coment movies but could't help it this time.

On the other hand Idris Elba was the only one that did some acting in this movie.

It may not have been the stupidest movie ever but it sure was a huge disappointment.

The basic premise was great - a kaiju slug fest done with modern effects.

But the script was just as lame as could be. If they just put a bit more effort in terms of story and character, this could have been something great. Instead, it was just...lame.

I agree, I love science fiction and Del Toro's films, but this movie is really bad! I did not enjoy it at all! I found it quite cheesy! I mean, what?!

You must have not seen the Hellboy movies. Those are a thousand times cheesier than anything in Pacific Rim.

Idk why, but I quite enjoyed Hellboy films! specially for Liz, the pyrokinetic character! But Pacific Rim, was... way too much for me!

I didn't hate the Hellboy films myself, though I prefer Pacific Rim. However, I thought the 'humor' in them was way more kids-y and juvenile than anything in Pacific Rim. Not that Pacific Rim didn't have a few really dumb moments.

If you say this stupid than I wonder what will happened if you watch Ultraman, or Power Rangers, Or Kamen Riders, Hulk, X-Men( when humans get mutated, they got cancer and die, the end! guess thats the plot you will like.)

This movie is rated PG-13 for a reason, they appealed to younger teens and such as a fun movie not a day in the school where everything have to make sense and scientific, what supposed to be stupid is that you watching a movie about robots and monsters and expect to found live altering theory about the meaning of live.

Sure there are more practical ways to dispose monsters and way easier to eliminate humans(just nuke one city In U.S and blame other country, humans will nuke each others till nothing left), But than this wont be a Giant Robot Vs Monsters, It will be independent day or Battle L.A or any other alien doomday movie there is. Personally I find this movie fun to watch when you put it in line with all PG-13 movies, no brainer just bashing monsters and such.

I thought the movie was a lot of fun. The last fight withe whiptail Lizard thing was cool.

The flashback with the little asian slowly walking away but being fast enough to out-run it, that made me Cringe.

For the name caller who thought the 2 pilots was dumb,

commercial airliners have 2 pilots. Jet fighters have two pilots. Try to PROVE THAT ACTUAL FACT is dumb.

Transformers 2 was stupid. It never really showed why or how they ended up in Egypt.

Cowboys vs aliens is the worst movie ever. I saw it on HBO or Showtime. Get this cowboys vs aliens was so bad not even halfway through I called up my cable company to ask for a refund

And they gave me 6 months of a different movie channel for free. The customer service guy said he saw it in the theatre and walked out.

That how bad cowboys vs aliens is they ended up paying me not to watch it.

Don't call people names and then talk about IQ, all that proves is that you got lucky in the multiple choice once then proved that it was a lark by putting in writing that your best arguement was thought up in grade school.
