Hailee is too ugly

To be playing Juliet. Let's be honest. She looks like a boy with make up and a wig sometimes. Those muddy small eyes... not a Juliet in my opinion.

I'm having trouble reconciling in my mind how anyone could think this girl is ugly. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Also, she seems to be growing more beautiful as she ages, coming off those somewhat awkward early teen years.

It's fine to think she is miscast. For me, I think she is because I'd rather see Brit actors in traditional Shakespearean roles or actors that can reasonably play that off. It hurts my ears otherwise. But using ugly as an excuse just makes you look either really stupid or in dire need of a visit to the optometrist.

Actually, during Shakespeare's time, boys with make and wigs DID play Juliet. So I guess she's perfect for the role?

Regardless, she is not ugly.

I thought she was so pretty and cute! Just what Juliet needed to be: very young looking. In the original play, Juliet is 13. From the trailers I felt like Hailee Steinfeld might not be pretty enough, but in the movie I thought she was lovely.

You can't ask why about love.
