Who else enjoyed the first offering?

I didn't love it or hate it. It is a new bag and will take time to gel. I think it has potential but it will take more time. I enjoyed the Clarkson days and I can imagine that I will like the new cast but only time will tell that. There will be a lot of hate for the show from fans of the Clarkson days but who knows the new cast could bring in new people who didn't like Clarkson.

It was the first show so it will take time but at the end of the day things will settle down and the hate will fade. I just hope that the new guys will find their own groove and style. Thats whats really needed.

I thought that Matt was really good, I was not a fan of Chris at all and what is going on with his hair? Is he wearing a wig or something?

Respect for HolyOnions original post. It takes a lot more effort to hate something than to give it a fair chance. OK Chris Evans has a bit of a shrieky voice and is perhaps trying too hard, but come on look at the Jezza/Hamster/Slow shoes he/they have to fill. Watch the next few episodes patiently and remember there are millions of people who don't even have food, before condemning Top Gear for hiring a shouty ginger and slightly banal yank. Tune in (download) and chill...

as much as i despise JC in general, simply because he is a moron
this however was just an hour of screaming squealing ginger cringefest, i don't mind Matt but the squealing ginger was annoying as hell, i would go as far as the horrid Top Gear USA is more enjoyable to watch.

It wasn't bad, but i wouldn't call this good. I hope it will get better soon, and I'm also curious about the original trios new show. The only thing I would change is Chris Evans host... maybe it's just me, but he seems way overexcited.

Not me. Only liked Matt LeBlanc's segment. Apart from that, rest of the episode is garbage turd.

I enjoyed it, but as many other have noted, Chris Evans is very annoying. However, it was just the first episode. I think given some time it could be great again. Another thought - all good things have to come to an end. Eventually the Clarkson/May/Hammond crew would be too old, so despite what the internet apparently wanted, that was not going to last forever.

Just this sec watched the 2 episodes and enjoyed immensely! Nothing annoyed me at all really. Just excitement from chris a little bit, which is probably the norm no doubt... seeing you have the best job in the world. :)
