They put all this time and effort into the world of the movie, so many characters, races, classes, ships, weapons, accessories, so many little details, but forgot to write a decent story. The same thing happened with the Matrix sequels. Packed it so full of junk, layer upon layer, as if to distract from the subpar storytelling. What a waste.
These dudes are totally lost.
The sad thing is you wonder what another director would have made it. Doubly ironic that Terry Gilliam was in the cast. Despite all the special effects etc etc it seemed a bit unimaginative, flat and conventional.

Speed Racer I actually Truly enjoy, But I enjoy as One of those"So Bad Its good" movies
Jupiter Ascending I like PURELY as an action movie but as an overall movie irs not very good
