Do guys like this movie?

Because I read that people were comparing it to Twilight, not just because Teresa Palmer looks like Kristen Stewart. It's kind of a romantic action comedy and as a girl I really liked the movie. So I was wondering if it's too romantic for guys or not.

Twilight sucks though IMO :P

It's not a good movie because it's a story we've seen countless times. It's just Romeo and Juliet turned into zombies. People should really think and stop letting Hollywood fool us with simple writing.

I liked it!

It was one of those rare movies I stopped watching part way through. It wasn't painful to watch, it was just nothing. The girl, and the story in general, seemed to have been written in a bland way. So yeah, Twilight people might like it.

Good acting, good music but awful plot. Everything doesn't have to be made into a movie. A broadway musical or short play would have been better.

This movie gave me A.I.D.S.

It doesn't really matter if you're a guy or not. I watched it with my sister and we both agreed that the pace as well as the story itself were really dull and far-fetched. This movie cannot decide what it is, and that insecurity is not something pleasent to see.

Not well, done, not well at all...and how the songs by great bands such as The National and artist like M83 were thrown around, starting and finishing with no regard of atmosphere or pacing of the (preposterous) story...
All in all it was very dissapointing, a time-waster, one of those you are sorry to have come across at all.

Comparing this to "Twilight" is downright stupid since it's NOTHING like it! I am a guy and I simply loved this movie! Very funny, smart, sweet and surprisingly optimistic for a zombie movie!

I am 24 male. I didnt like Twilling. This movie was quite nice. But you have to see all the metaphors and symbols it proposes.

Guy here. I can't stand the Twilight movies (the first one is bearable, though), and I was really surprised about how much I liked Warm Bodies. Julie was a really cool relateable girl, which made the whole romance aspect of the story better instantly. It didn't feel too forced either, but progresses subtley and naturally instead of forcing it down the audience's throats with one cheesy line after another, like so many romantic comedies do. Well, as naturally as a romance between a human and a zombie can be. .

Great music choices too in that movie.
