Because I read that people were comparing it to Twilight, not just because Teresa Palmer looks like Kristen Stewart. It's kind of a romantic action comedy and as a girl I really liked the movie. So I was wondering if it's too romantic for guys or not.
Twilight sucks though IMO :P

A different new take on the zombie genre that actually really worked
Mostly down to chemistry of the two lead actors... Someone else on these posts summed it up perfectly by saying you actually "cared and believed" about their mutual attraction to each other ... As crazy as it seemed... This could have failed on so many levels but they actually got it right.
And don't understand why so many people are trying to make the Twilght comparison?
This film had far much more subtle humour than that dire franchise could ever hope for
The comparison to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers is actually a better comparison and clearly had some influence here
Plus the film has the always excellent John Malcovic in it .. Win win
The film will never win any great accolades but it was a surprisingly warm hearted, thoroughly enjoyable romp
Even for guys or blokes as we say in England :-)

I liked it OK. Book was better, as per usual.

Considering the premise it had everything to go horribly wrong.
But they managed to write a semi-competent plot around such a stupid idea, and by having competent actors the characters came to life.
Maybe the extremely low expectations that I had also made it look a lot better than what I thought it would be.
way way better then I thought it would be. Has a great music track. the cgi was beyong horrid and the end was pretty bad but it was overall decent to watch. 6.5/10
sharei thought it was solid on my first couple of viewings but it did not hold up on my third viewing of it just now on Oct 30th 2016.
p.s. i just turned 37 years old this month and i am a male.
