Do guys like this movie?

Because I read that people were comparing it to Twilight, not just because Teresa Palmer looks like Kristen Stewart. It's kind of a romantic action comedy and as a girl I really liked the movie. So I was wondering if it's too romantic for guys or not.

Twilight sucks though IMO :P

My wife rented it and I ended up really enjoying it. Much better than I expected, plus the idea is original which is rare these days. I heard the book was good too.

i understand the comparison with twilight, except that the book warm bodies AND the movie warm bodies both had that something that the twilight books and movies lacked.....quality.....i'm a straight man, and i loved both the book and movie warm bodies.....for one thing, guys are romantic (let go of stupid stereotypes, most of guys only behave according to stereotypes because we are EXPECTED to)....and for another, guys DO like romantic movies...we hate BAD romantic movies, and there certainly are a lot of really bad romantic movies out there....

besides that, analeigh tipton is so incredibly hot! if the movie had been bad, it would still be enjoyable to watch her for the 98 minutes

(to further screw up your stereotypes, i like things to be blown up, but action movies arent really my thing.....but my wife LOVES action flicks....testosterone and estrogen have a great deal of effects on the genitalia of an individual, as well as the mood of an idividual, but not really on movie preferences)

I'm 23 and male and I personally enjoyed it. I'm an English major and have always been attracted to fine literature, but at the same time I enjoy a good mind-numbing action or Zombie flick. I enjoyed the modernized take on the classic Romeo and Juliet while maintaining a lot of the details that make this a modern action/zombie movie. Warm Bodies, though it did attempt to push the line of being a "Twilight with zombies", managed to keep itself distanced enough with it's humor and it's action that I didn't want to gouge my eyes out before the end. It wasn't the best movie by any means, but I would say it was a solid enjoyable film.

Dude here: I found it charming and sweet. Yeah, it's got it's problems, but has a delightful core story that helped me enjoy it for what it was, a slice of joy.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It's a good looking film too.

Twilight sucked and so did this.

It's an insult to Zombie films and anyone who tries to defend it while bashing Twilight is full of sh!t.

You can call me a troll all you like but indeed all I am is a straight guy who doesn't think a girl would ever fall in love with a zombie who just ate her boyfriends head. Love stories have no business being in a zombie film. In any form.

I guess that's just using logic though.

Uhmm love stories are always part of zombie films. You have not watched many zombies films.

No, they aren't, Dumb@ss, and I've watched literally EVERY zombie film I could get my hands on. Starting with the original Night of the Living Dead right on down the line to The Demented. No matter how sh!tty the zombie film..I've seen it.

I love it when children call other people kids. Quit trolling, little girl.

As a guy, I love both Kristen Stewart and Teresa Palmer and they do look a bit similar. Teresa also resembles Naomi Watts. Analeigh is a delight to watch. She steals the thunder in this movie too. I like Hoult as well.

If people weren't so narrow minded and prejudiced, they would see that Twilight (only the first one which was just brilliant) is one of the better movies of its kind. So, one would think that I'd probably have liked Warm Bodies. But, I didn't. The movie is convoluted and frankly, dumb even if one were to give it lots of leeway. Within a minute of setting up its rules, it disobeys it. There are several other major complaints of mine, but at the end of the day, this one is just not for people who want a good movie.

I hate to admit it but I found twilight bareable in some way, this is just super hard to watch. Maybe they should have made it a comedy or something?

I actually thought it was going to be a comedy, when I realized it was actually serious I was like WTF? I can't belive someone decided to make a serious project about this. Next they'll make an Aliens movie with Zenomorph love interest, just totally weird.
