So young people liked it, and older people thought it sucked?

That's what I'm gathering here. Is there anyone here in their 30s/40s/50s (or older) that actually enjoyed this?

reply

I disliked it a lot. Am sort of biased because I don't really care for the first movie and don't understand the cult following but decided to give this one a shot anyway because someone on here said it was better than the original. What a let down.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

I'm 23 and thought it was utter crap. I love the original, but it didn't need to be turned into a franchise.

'Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy, all for the love of you..."

teens love the jump scares

39 so I guess im old. Sadly lacked the documentary feel of the original and the slowly building dread. Sound design was just way too loud and that kinda killed any atmosphere.

reply

My Missus and myself are both 39 and we both loved the film.

reply

Wow, quite a range here! And I thought I was the only older person that saw this - haha!

reply

everything about it was horrendous... 0 of out 10... and not trolling... 5 million to make this... this could of been made for 500

reply

It sucked for sure!! Not worth the 16/17 year wait.

I'm 30 and thought it sucked. The acting and dialogue felt like it was for teenagers.
