I think I would do it for $1 million USD, but not anything less. However, with some conditions:
- The Ladder must be completely sturdy the entire way up and the entire way down.
- The tower overall must be in new condition, no ancient or obsolete tower conditions, and is not in danger of collapse.
- The weather must be sunny, 75F-80F, with no clouds and no weather warnings approaching.
- I can use a safety harness and belt in case I slip or the wind knocks me.
- All microwave and other antennae on the tower must be turned off.
- I can bring a cell phone along.
- Bezos pays my taxes on the $1m, so I keep the full amount.

Why? They dont output anywhere enough power to have any effect on you.
Also you need at least 3 mil to live off interest afterwards if you want a decent life.

shareI was twelve when I reclined from an 80-foot cliff (only did it twice, I should have done more in retrospect). My frame of mind was to just simply accept and TRUST the rope, and the guy down below... But yeah, that tower in the film didn't look too sturdy to me.
But for me, I think I could do it for 100K, USD. I'd prolly get too tired before reaching halfway and high wind scares me as well.
I would need a sturdy tower that's not rusty and falling apart.

shareI'd climb, MAYBE, the first hundred feet. The entire thing was completely rusted. Why they didn't stop immediately is insane. Again, the suspension of disbelief is key here.
