Part One was boring AF - why would I see this?

Ya either want to see people riding around on giant worms or ya don't. Aside from that all you're gonna get is another flashy rebellion story. Lots of CGI pew pew and boom boom. Might be fun to see Austin Butler finally revealing his true inner self.

You don't. Those of us who enjoyed the first film will like this one and watch it, probably.

While I can admit the recent Dune is better put together than the Lynch Dune, I get more enjoyment out of the Lynch one by far. I'll see this part 2. But the Villeneueve movie just seems cold and somehow empty to me. Doesn't make me feel anything. And I really like him as a director. I think he's done some fantastic work, so I was very excited when I first heard he was taking on this project. But years from now I don't see myself wanting to revisit it often.

Because Lynch's Dune was not boring, that's why you liked that.
I recommend watching Lynch's Dune extended version, it is almost great.
